control

tape
recorder
(or
tape deck).

using a monaural tape
recorder,
signals
of either
left or
right
channel
only can
be recorded.

lf the tape recorder
used with the SX-44O
is

with a
monitor circuit, monitor
can be
effected regardless of the tape
recorder being two-head
or three-head type. Connect
the tape
recorder
to
the SX440
recording
and
playback
terminals. By
setting the TAPE MONITOR
(121
from
"OFF"
to
"ON"
while
making recording, the signals
applied to
the recording head can
be monitored
if
the tape
recorder is
of the two
head
system.
lf
a
three-head tape recorder
is used, recorded signals
can be monitor-
ed immediately
after recording.
